Workshop archive 2019 Dance lessons for young people affected by the spectrum of autism disorders
The objective of the classes is to offer dance sessions in which everyone is free to participate as much as his or her individual capacity permits, and simply enjoy dance and
motion. The classes consist of exercises that combine dance and music, and are based on contact improvisation, the Todd Alignment Technique and the Body/Mind Centering Method.
Course activities also include short dance sequences and independent creative motion exercises. Participants can join the group independently or with a personal assistant. Basic knowledge of Finnish required to attend these classes.
