During the class, we work with movement awakened by imagination and the real space around and within us. We dance and improvise in relation to short texts in your language of choice (Swedish, Finnish or English).

During the class, we work with movement awakened by imagination and the real space around and within us. We dance and improvise in relation to short texts in your language of choice. The texts instill the possibilities of our kinetic imagination and association. Different exercises ranging from structured dance improvisation and physical theatre to contemporary dance intertwine with short movement combinations and instant dance composition. This is facilitated in a way that makes it easy to join in even if you need to be absent from some classes. We also do exercises in free writing that complement our work with movement. We work individually, in pairs and in small groups towards an atmosphere of trust and openness, where we can experience being seen and sharing our associations and movement.

This course is held in Swedish, but you can always participate also in Finnish or English. In other words, there is no demand for a strong knowledge of Swedish, curiosity is well enough!
