Terms of Use for Zodiak’s Free Studio time

Zodiak’s free studio times are intended for independent dance professionals (not students or organizations) for self-directed practice and short-term production work by creative teams.

Studio times are offered on Saturdays, subject to availability after Zodiak’s own productions and other activities. Free studio times may not be used for paid workshops or any other activities that are open to the public or commercial in nature.

Each session lasts 4 hours (time slots: 9:00–13:00, 13:00–17:00, and 17:00–21:00). Both Zodiak studios—B2 and C4—are available for use, meaning six sessions are offered every Saturday. The spaces are available for all registered users, but we ask for mutual consideration so that as many artists as possible can benefit from the open sessions.

Registering as a User and Booking the Space

To access the free studio times, individuals must register in advance for Zodiak’s studio users. Registration requires the user's name, email address, and phone number. Registration is done using this form.

Artists registered in the system will receive a link to the booking calendar, which displays available time slots and allows for making reservations. available slots open 30 days in advance. Booking closes on the Friday morning of the week in question. Bookings are confirmed on Friday, at which time the key box code is also provided.

When booking, users must provide their name and email address, as well as the size of their creative team. The person booking the space is responsible for its proper use, for adhering to the agreed schedule, and for leaving the space tidy for the next user.

Misuse and liability for damages

If the space is misused during a booked session—for example, by hosting events open to the public—the user may be denied the right to book the facilities in the future. Repeatedly failing to use booked slots may also result in the denial of future bookings; therefore, please always cancel your booking if you are unable to attend.

The person booking the studio is responsible for the use of the space and may be held liable for damages resulting from negligent use—such as theft caused by leaving windows or doors unlocked, or damage to the studio or Zodiak’s property caused by the user’s own conduct.
