Lying in a warm pocket feels like being thoroughly hugged. Reddress by designer Aamu Song embraces its audience at Pannuhalli in August as a joint production between Zodiak and Helsinki Festival.

Reddress consists of ten different entities and experiences of music, dance, speech and surprises.

Reddress is a rampbreaker. The boundary between performer and audience is crossed as all wear the same unique giant-dress.

Fri 16.8. at 18: The Seasons

The wide-ranging Reddress programme kicks off with violinist Pekka Kuusisto, pump organist Milla Viljamaa and Meidän orkesteri quintet’s fresh and colourful take on the Four Seasons. Kuusisto and Viljamaa have performed Vivaldi’s well-loved classic in a number of countries, including Australia, while on tour with the Australian Chamber Orchestra.

In Reddress, Kuusisto and Viljamaa will be joined by the Meidän orkesteri string quintet, an ensemble founded by Kuusisto, known for their unusual insights on concert conventions and performing. The quintet seeks inspiration through dance, contemporary circus, video and light art as well as other forms of performing art.

Tue 20.8. at 21: Loistaen olet metsää

”Loistaen olet metsää” arises from a dialogue between poetry and cello music.
