September’s Open office will take place on Sep 17, at the office of Cirko – Center for New Circus. The doors will open between 13:00–17:00.
September's Open office focuses on grant applications. The program kicks off at 1:15 PM with a panel discussion featuring arts professionals who have reviewed grant applications, among others Anniina Kumpuniemi.
In addition, you can book a 45-minute individual session to discuss your own grant application with staff members from Zodiak, Dance House Helsinki, and/or Cirko. During this sparring session, you can address topics such as your application budget, proofreading and refining the text, or clarifying your project's core concepts through conversation. All sessions are strictly confidential and aim to help you move forward with your independent work. Unfortunately, even we don't have guaranteed magic words to secure funding!
Book your slot by September 16 by emailing Elina Ruoho-Kurola (elina.ruoho-kurola@zodiak.fi). In your message, briefly describe what kind of assistance or advice you are looking for—specifically whether you need help with the budget or refining the text—so we can pair you with the best-suited team member. Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
