NOIR?, directed by Sonya Lindfors, is a collaboration between six Helsinki-based artists focusing on blackness, black identities, prefixes and spaces between spaces. The performance, made with uncompromising hip hop attitude, "doesn't shy away from the troublespots of Afro-Finnish identity, exploring issues such as rootlessness, shame and difference." (Jonni Aromaa, YLE News)

The world changes, Finland changes, the art world changes. Everything is transforming. NOIR? tackles a subject matter relevant for an increasing number of young Finns, with an intentionally political attitude.

In NOIR? the only Afro-Finnish dance artists of the Helsinki contemporary dance scene, Sonya Lindfors, Esete Sutinen and Ima Iduozee, team up with actor-rap artist Gracias to explore their identities and backgrounds as human beings, Finnish citizens and artists.

NOIR? premiered in Zodiak on November 29, 2013.
