Helsinki Festival will continue its extremely popular ‘Art for Homes’ series. After music and poems, this year it is time for dance to enter people’s private homes. The big names of contemporary dance in Finland, Leena Gustavson and  Reijo Kela, as well as the hosting families, invite people to participate in an unforgettable art experience.

For Leena Gustavson, every kitchen is worth a dance. Today in the kitchen is Gustavson’s chocolate-flavored choreography that brings life to kitchens and kitchens to life.

Reijo Kela makes a joyful return to small-scale performances. In the 1980s he performed dances for one spectator at a time. This August, Kela visits the homes of Helsinki with his Dancing stories.
