Mikko Hyvönen’s Senior Course 3 is divided into two groups, each with identical content. Group B meets on Mondays from 11.45AM to 13.15PM.

The aim of this senior course, guided by dancer and choreographer Mikko Hyvönen, is to discover joy in movement and dance while exploring new ways to observe them.

The classes begin with dance and movement exercises designed to warm up and energise the body. Some of the exercises draw inspiration from bodily imagery, while others incorporate nature-related images. These exercises are adaptable to different intensity levels, enabling participants to engage at their preferred pace. Musical and rhythmic dances are also included in the sessions to explore softness and sensitivity along with power and rhythm in movement. No prior dance experience is necessary to join this course.

Mikko Hyvönen, a dancer and choreographer, graduated from the P.A.R.T.S. School for Contemporary Dance in Brussels in 2010.
