The Indulge the Movement workshop by Iiro Näkki is an introduction to work in pairs through different games and motion exercises. Course activities are used to explore new motion patterns while being subjected to limitations and changing conditions, to observe the tensing and relaxing of muscular tonus in motion, and to discuss the choices that affect how the relationship between the self and the other is formed. The exercises are conducted in pairs and form a dialogue of different physical histories both with and without words.

Iiro Näkki graduated as a Master of Arts (Dance) from the choreography programme of the Theatre Academy of Uniarts Helsinki. He currently works with dance and circus art as a choreographer, performer, instructor and producer. Näkki has performed in productions by dance company Kinetic Orchestra, Lü Suosen, Mirva Mäkinen and Laura Pietiläinen. He has also instructed dance and circus students from beginners to professionals and engages in his own choreographic work. His latest work as a choreographer is [ frames ] (2018).

With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than the deadline are subject to full course fee. An administrative fee, 10 % of the course fee, will be charged from all cancellations.
