Kurssilla käydään läpi tanssin peruselementtejä, kuten painovoiman tutkimista maadoittumisen ja vertikaalisuuden kautta. Rennon liikkeen etsimistä ymmärtämällä luu-lihasyhteyksiä, sekä tutkailemalla esim. selkärangan ja lantion merkityksiä. Näiden kehollisten harjoitteiden kautta on tarkoitus heittäytyä kohti tapahtumisen tilaa, joka ruokkii mielekästä olemista ja kirkasta läsnäoloa. Tanssi lähtee kehittymään sisäisten aistimusten ja ympäristön vuoropuheluksi. Työskentely tapahtuu yksinkertaisten harjoitteiden ja tehtäväpohjaisen improvisaation kautta. "Toivon, että löydämme kurssilla ns. kehollisen hölmöilyn ja leikin tilan, joka vapauttaa energiaa ja mieltä."

Satu Rekola has graduated from Theatre Academy Helsinki in 2003 as Master in Dance. Since then she has worked vastly as a dancer with various choreographers from FinLand and abroad. In dance she’s intrigued by Tanssitaiteessa Rekolaa kiehtoo maailmaan kietoutuminen ruumiillisuuden kautta.

Enrolment is binding. Cancellations must be communicated on the last enrollment day by 6 pm the latest. Please check this course's last day of enrollment from above. With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than the deadline are subject to full course fee.
Zodiak's courses and workshops can also be paid using pre-paid Liikuntaseteli and Kulttuuriseteli vouchers (Smartum Oy) as well as Virikeseteli vouchers (Edenred Oy). You can pay with the vouchers in the beginning of the first class or you can bring the vouchers to Zodiak office (open weekdays 11 am to 4 pm). It is not possible to pay the course fee with cash.
