Move & Shake II is an introduction to choreographer Sonya Lindfors' kinetic expression and choreographic exercises that incorporate street dance styles and techniques. The Move & Shake classes are intended to shake you up, put you in the groove and make you dance, with the intention of challenging traditional trajectories and movements, perhaps even ways of thinking. Throw yourself into an energetic, dynamic, collective groove!
Dance, sweat, pleasure and energy! The course is ideal for students with previous dancing experience and students who have completed Sonya's Move & Shake I.
Sonya Lindfors is a Helsinki-based choreographer and the artistic director of UrbanApa. She works at the intersection of urban and popular culture and contemporary art. In her own works, Lindfors combines the dynamic motions, rhythms and patterns of house music to the soft and breathing release technique.

Cancellations must be communicated no later than seven days before the course begins. With the exception of injuries and illnesses certified in writing by a doctor, cancellations made later than seven days before the course or workshop are subject to full course fee.
