Maria Saivosalmi: I Do My Part

I Do My Part is a contemporary dance solo and an homage to the contribution of the individual in the great scheme of things. In the performance, dance artist and performer Maria Saivosalmi goes through her personal history of big stage productions. Starting out against the backdrop of the entertainment world, the work gradually dives into the deeper themes of time, repetition and significance.

Saivosalmi has worked extensively as a performer both in the freelance dance field and with Helsinki Dance Company / Helsinki City Theatre, while simultaneously collaborating as a choreographer with artists such as Andrius Katinas.
