Just is a praise of the miraculous quality of everyday reality and a cry for help on behalf of those who never seem to have time for it. Never taking itself too seriously, Just lives for the moment, not for tomorrow, turning domestic dust to fairy glitter.

The piece draws inspiration from ingredients including mindfulness, unfinished projects, dreams, rap, home renovation, childhood, crocheting and cross-stitching, managing the everyday life, stars (both rock and celestial), Facebook, YouTube, smartphones, books, magic, efficiency and rapture.

Vera Nevanlinna is a dancer and a choreographer, a photographer, an ex-drummer, a mother of two, a woman, a daughter and a little sister. She lives in Helsinki, finds herself in constant awe of professions that produce concrete objects and wonders whether she should still start studying to be a locksmith, for example.
