After the knot is opened one first feels slightly lonely: that binding embrace is over.
The events portrayed in the performance rise out of the need of the associative and experience-oriented mind to get as close to itself as possible. The choreographic process explores the spaces between the lines to release an echo that reveals more of the energy of the self. Travelling towards sense and senselessness, inside which I draw my first breath to hear my own heart beat.
Choreographer, dancer Joona Halonen is known for his dark, minimalistic and poetic worlds where the stage is given to motion and the body.
Halonen's new performance Tight is created especially for the high Maneesi hall of Cirko in Suvilahti. The workgroup consists of many of Halonen's usual collaborators but also new artistic partners: in addition to Joona Halonen, it features dancers Arttu Palmio, Marika Peura, Guillermo Sarduy and Katri Soini, sound designer Tuuli Kyttälä, spatial designer Salla Salin, lighting designer Johannes Hallikas and costume designer Minttu Vesala.

Directions to Cirko from Sörnäinen and Kalasatama metrostation
Quickest way to Cirko from Sörnäinen is by Vilhonvuorenkatu. After you enter the Suvilahti area, passing Kattilahalli, you will find Cirko at the upper corner on your left hand side.
From Kalasatama metro station:
- turn right from the metro station
- follow the path for pedestrians and bicycles, all the way pass the closed the pedestrian tunnel, until you reach an intersection.
- at the intersection, turn right
- walk ehad until you reach a big parking area. You will see Cirko on the other side of the parking area
- entrance from the left side of the building
