Zodiak Laboratory is Zodiak's residency concept. In May 2026, the ZodLab residency artist is Ama Kyei, together with their working group.
Tender Molecules is a new performance for audiences of all ages, weaving together movement, sound, textiles and projection to create a space of safety, care and gentle connection. The work grows from choreographer Ama Kyei’s piece Veden kuiskaus, where mythological water spirits and ritual movement carry the knowledge of ancestors and water.
During the Zodiak Laboratory residency, the artistic team develops the visual and embodied world of the piece.
The residency period shapes a performance that invites audiences into an atmosphere of calm, interconnectedness and protection — a space where mythology, memory and the present moment flow together like water. Tender Molecules will premiere at the URB Festival at Kiasma Theatre in June 2026.
