Zodiak Laboratory is Zodiak's residency concept. In January 2023 the Z-Lab residency artist are Teo Ala-Ruona and their working group.
Ala-Ruona and his working group are working on a new performance piece, Enter Exude, at the Zodiak Laboratory residency. Enter Exude is a performance for three people and a Chevrolet Camaro. It will premiere in May 2023 at Kiasma Theatre.
At the Zodiak residency, the working group will focus on exploring the movement language and words that emerge from technosexual desire. Enter Exude seeks sensations through unfulfilled desire, breathing, and fictional intoxication. At the residence, the working group will work specifically on performance practices and the dramaturgy, sound design, and set design of the piece.
