This course is an energetic whole with exercises performed on the dance floor and in the studio solo, in pairs and as a group. We trace infinite arches and paths through walls, floors and bodies, practising movement through space and bodies in a spiralling motion. The underlying method is David Zambrano's Flying Low floor technique, the Passing Through group improvisation method, spiral body movement and the spiral stabilization method.
The spiral revolves around an unchanging central point an infinite number of times never intersecting with itself. A point moving on a spiral trajectory constantly either approaches or moves away from the centre.
The workshop is intended for advanced amateur dancers. Workshop languages are Finnish and English.

Zodiak's courses and workshops can also be paid using pre-paid Liikuntaseteli and Kulttuuriseteli vouchers (Smartum Oy) as well as Virikeseteli vouchers (Edenred Oy). You can pay with the vouchers in the beginning of the first class or you can bring the vouchers to Zodiak office (open weekdays 11 am to 4 pm). It is not possible to pay the course fee with cash.
