COVID-19 has changed, restricted, and blocked the ways and opportunities for artists working in community arts context. Yhteisö tanssii ry and Zodiak are organizing a peer meeting where the participants have the opportunity to meet colleagues and share experiences and jointly plan new strategies for the world before and after the COVID-19.

Welcome to a meeting for artists working in community Mon 26.10. from 3 to 5:30 pm to the Zodiak stage!

The discussion will be moderated by Pia Houni, Ph.D. We have also invited health and social care professionals to take part in the debate so that we can together start to plan new operational cultures.

The meeting will be held on Zoom. The meeting linki will be sent to all who have registered for the event.

The event will be held in Finnish.

Address and Accesibility

Zodiak is located at Tallberginkatu 1, 00180 Helsinki in the inner courtyard of the Cable Factory (Kaapelitehdas). You can find more info on how to arrive to the Cable Factory, at their website here.

If you arrive by taxi or call a taxi to Zodiak, please ask the driver to come to door B at the inner courtyard of the Cable Factory. The inner courtyard is accessible via Tallberginkatu.

The auditorium and the foyer are accessible with a wheelchair, and can be reached via Tallberginkatu 1. The accessible entrance can be reached via a gateway, which is located between doors A and B.

The auditorium and the foyer are accessible with a wheelchair, and can be reached using the lift located at door B. Please note that the door to the lift is heavy. The door is manual.

A toilet accessible with a wheelchair is available opposite the lift on the same floor with the auditorium.

We have a grounded wall socket available for electric wheelchairs. Please let the office know beforehand if you would like to use it.

Unfortunately, we have no induction loop installed, but if you have your own portable induction loop, it can be installed to the auditorium. In this case please let the Zodiak office know beforehand.

Guide dogs are also welcome.
